Instructions & Recommendations

We suggest combining this activity with a visit of the rest of the city (covered under a separate review)

Meta review

This activity features at the top of things to do in the city in most guidebooks and gets similar treatment in online reviews. Visitors point out that the building itself is gorgeous, one of the nicest looking in Albacete, and that the entrance and shop are very cheap. They also enjoy the broad collection, consisting of some real work of arts and educational at the same time.

Environmental & Social

Some environment impact to run the museum (mostly electricity). Helps preserve the city's artisanal heritage.

Conclusion

The museum should be on anyone's list of places to visit whilst in Albacete. It is a welcome change from traditional museums but remains both educational and visually engaging. In addition, it deals with an industry that has been central to the city's economy for the last few centuries and is a matter of great pride locally.
