Granadella Beach - by Management
Description
Granadella beach is a small gravel beach (200 wide x 20m deep) located in a cove in the municipality of Jávea in the province of Alicante (Spain). It is considered one of the best-looking beaches in Spain, which means it can be crowded in spite of its semi-remote location, and it holds a blue flag rating.
Access & Transport
The beach is next to Cap Nao, 90km northeast of Alicante and 120km southeast of Valencia. The road reaches up to the beach.
Instructions & Recommendations
Lifeguards are on duty from mid-June to mid-September from 11h00 to 19h00
Environmental & Social
Reasonable infrastructure and low carbon footprint. No negative social impact
Conclusion
Highly recommended outside of mid-June to mid-Sept high season. Otherwise think and plan carefully because Granadella isn't on the way to anywhere, restaurants are expensive, and if you do not reach very early you should expect to have to park quite far - which definitely takes some of the charm and pleasure away, in particular if you have children with you.
