The Sierra Helada (in Valencian Serra Gelada) is a protected natural park immediately to the northeast of Benidorm, in the province of Alicante. It is notable for its abruptly rising topography, creating costal cliffs of up to 300m. Highlights include geological features such as fossil dunes and caves, the vegetation, the views, and the Albir Lighthouse.
Access & Transport
It is possible to walk to the southern part of the park from the center of Benidorm The trail to the Albir Lighthouse is 8km from Benidorm, starting from the south-eastern edge of L'Albir.

Conclusion
A small natural park with impressive cliffs and a few short hikes - great for those based in Benidorm or the surrounding area but falls short of warranting a long detour. Great place for sunrise.
