Description
Ordino is a small town in north-western Andorra known for its well-preserved medieval center and considered to be the cultural center of the Principality. The origin of the name is pre-Roman and there are references to a settlement there as early as the 9th century. Economically, iron ore mining and iron works were key. The main sights include the 12th century Romanesque churches of Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià and Sant Martí de la Cortinada, the Postal and Postcard Museum of Andorra, the Miniature Museum, and the Manor houses such as Fiter-Riba and Casa Rossell.

The town is 2km from La Massana on the CG-3, 8km north of Andorra la Vella and 15km from Canillo (CG-3/CG-2) The nearest cities with international airports are Toulouse in France (190km) and Barcelona in Spain (210km)
