Torimbia Beach - by David F. M. on Google

Description
Torimbia is a 500m-long shell-shaped fine sand beach with clear water and a depth ranging from 80-100m depending on tide. It is quite isolated and widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Asturias.
Access & Transport
The beach is 9km west of Lanes, next to the village of Niembru. There is a dedicated parking area at the top of the ridge overlooking the beach and the path down is along a purpose-built track leading to the west side of the beach, or via rough trails along the hillside that lead to the eastern end of the beach. From Gijon it is an 85km drive; take exit 303 from the A-8 and drive 3-4km to Niembru. From Santander it is 100km (exit 300 from the A-8)
Instructions & Recommendations
*** Note that this is a nudist beach, so you should expect to see a mix of nude and swimsuit-wearing beachgoers. Make sure everybody within your group is confortable with that before heading down the longish trail *** Do not park where you are not supposed to or you will get a fine.
Environmental & Social
Hardly any infrastructure so the environment is well preserved.
Conclusion
One for the eyes - really a superb stretch of sand, especially in a sunny weather. A slightly long walk to get there but the views are excellent, at least on the way down. Worth going, even if just for the views from the top of the ridge.
Key positive
Gorgeous beach and clear water
Not too crowded
Key negative
Painful access to the parking area
Suitability
Not accessible for visitors with reduced mobility (long way down and back up). Might not be the best choice with younger children as well for that reason
