Wachirabenchathat Park - by Teerayuth Prasertrattanadacho on Google

Description
Wachirabenchathat Park (or Rot Fai Park) is a public park in Bangkok, formerly the State Railway of Thailand's golf course. It includes a small lake, a 3km cycling track, a butterfly garden, and sport facilities & infrastructure. There is also a miniature town with scaled-down landmarks of Bangkok. The park borders on Queen Sirikit Park and Chatuchak Park; together they form a continuous green expanse.
Access & Transport
The park is located in Chatuchak district, 8km north of Siam Square The Chatuchak Park station (blue), Mo Chit station (Sukhumvit line), and Phahon Yothin (blue) are all on the eastern edge of the parks.
Instructions & Recommendations
We suggest combining this attraction with a visit of Chatuchak Market, noting that this attraction is closed on Mon/Tue and that the main market day is on weekends
Environmental & Social
Green attraction that improves the living environment of residents
Conclusion
A welcome green space within Bangkok but there is nothing there to warrant a dedicated trip, other than it being, well... green. So this is one squarely for Bangkok residents or those seeking refuge after 2-3h spent in Chatuchak market!
