The National Museum of Science and Industry of Catalonia (mNACTEC) aim is to provide a comprehensive view of the evolution of scientific and technical advances in Catalonia and the related process of industrialization. The collection includes transport vehicles, household appliances, science and measurement instruments, etc. The museum is housed in an old weaving shed and easily recognizable thanks to its 161 shell-shaped half arches with windows.

Access & Transport

There is a direct train (S1 line) from Pl. Catalunya in Barcelona to Terrassa and the R4 line in Rodalies de Catalunya also stops there. By car, the C-16 and C-58 get to Terrassa with several parking options near the museum. Instructions & Recommendations

It is a simple trip to Terrassa and transport + visit should take about half a day, but you should add a few other tourist sights within the city such as the Masia Freixa, the Principal theater and the City Hall.
