Meta review

Online comments from visitors are quite mixed with season being a key factor in the quality of the experience; don't go in the winter as many sections are closed is a recurring statement together with the suggestion to bring your own F&B as options tend to be pricey inside the park. Beyond that, the opinions seem to differ depending on personal interest in parks / outdoors with many people really enjoying the diversity of landscapes and others not finding it worth a detour, including and especially the gondola ride.

Environmental & Social

Green activity Neutral from a social aspect

Conclusion

The Gärten der Welt will appeal to those generally interested in parks and to local or regional residents looking for a weekend activity. For the regular international traveller it isn't a must-see attraction and doesn't feel Berlin-specific so we would only recommend it if you have already explored the city for several days.
