Meta review

According to online reviews, the red brick building with its golden dome is quite beautiful, one of the nicest capitols in the country. The guided tour adds an historical aspect, some anecdotes, as well as insights into the functioning of the state government.

Environmental & Social

The building primary use is not for tourist visits so negligible additional carbon footprint. Helps preserve the state's history and architectural heritage + civic education

Conclusion

The State House is definitely worth a detour for its elegant architecture. The tours are best suited for US residents looking to perhaps compare with their own capitol and own administration, and to foreign travellers who have never visited a State House in the USA
