Bois de la Cambre - by Visit Brussels
Description
The Bois de la Cambre (Ter Kamerenbos) is a 122ha park in the south of Brussels consisting of a wooded area (northern part) and an artificial lake with an island (southern part). Set on an island in the middle of the lake, Chalet Robinson is a tea-room café reminiscent of a Swiss chalet. The park is popular for walks, pony rides, jogging and its playgrounds. In the summer it is also possible to rent boats and pedalos.
Access & Transport
The park is 6km to the southeast of the city centre. The following tram stations are next the park: Longchamp (7) in the northwest, Legrand (8, 93) in the north and Cambre-Etoile (7, 8) in the northeast. Tram lines 8 and 25 also run 300-400m parallel to the eastern edge of the park.

Attractions nearby include the Abbaye de la Cambre and the Villa Empain
