Choco Story Brussels - by Management

Description
Choco-Story Brussels exhibits the history of chocolate-making since the Aztecs and various processes involved in the process, starting from the harvest of the beans. The museum also holds chocolate tasting as well as chocolate bar making workshops. The latter is outside the scope of this review. Trivia: the museum, which was formally known as the Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate, was created by the wife of the founder of the Godiva chocolaterie.
Access & Transport
The museum is on Rue de l'Etuve, less than 5mins walk from the Grand-Place. In terms of public transports, it is 2mins walk from the 'Manneken Pis' (48) and 'Grand-Place" (33, 48, 95) bus stops or a 5mins walk to Anneessens or Bourse/Beurs tram stations (3, 4)
Instructions & Recommendations
We suggest combining this activity with a visit of the Grand-Place and the Garderobe MannekenPis museum (checking the statue itself in passing).
Environmental & Social
Low carbon footprint and some educational aspect
Conclusion
Choco Story Brussels is definitely worth considering if you are not acquainted with the history of chocolate and its manufacturing, starting with cocoa beans. If you already are, then it's probably a pass and you can instead focus on tasting products from one of the many chocolatiers in the city.
