Environmental & Social
No information regarding sourcing. The small producers' aspect is a positive from a social perspective, but the price of products is a negative community-wise.
Conclusion
The market is an excellent venue for some groceries, snacks or a meal for those exploring Ixelles / South Brussels but be aware that it is a highly "gentrified" market and priced accordingly. There are other alternatives spread out in other neighbourhoods that may be less famous but provide better value
Key positive
Wide range of choices
Many products of good quality
Key negative
Touristy prices - not great value
Suitability
No restrictions
