Description
Saja-Besaya Natural Park spreads over 245km2 in the southeast of Cantabria, covering the mountainous area (up to 2084m alt.) between the Saja and Besaya rivers. It is notable for its large forested areas, the cattle grazing upon the slopes, a great variety of fauna and flora, and the protected medieval village of Bárcena Mayor.
