Mall of the Emirates - by Furqan Bin Asif on Google

Description
The Mall of the Emirates was one of the first large scale shopping malls developed in Dubai. It opened in 2005 and contains over 900 retail outlets / stores and 100 restaurants and cafes. Ski Dubai is also there, and Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates is attached to the development.
Access & Transport
The mall is located at interchange 4 on Sheikh Zayed rd and is right next to the Mall of the Emirates metro station (red line) so it is both central and easy to access.
Instructions & Recommendations
This activity is best combined with Ski Dubai is also there and the attractions around Jumeirah Beach such as Wild Wadi Waterpark.
Environmental & Social
The mall entailed some massive construction work, lots of building materials and a significant energy expenditure every day. Favours consumerism
Conclusion
The Mall of the Emirates is one of the largest and best malls in the city. Even for those that are not into shopping, it might be worth checking it out just for its sheer size, for its supermarket (for snacks and groceries) and a view of Dubai's indoor ski slope.
Key positive
Plenty of food and supermarket options
One of the best options in the city for shoppers
Key negative
Nothing cultural or truly touristy
Maybe no longer the most impressive mall in Dubai, if that is your criteria of selection
Suitability
No restrictions
