Museum of Illusions, Dubai
1 / 4
Museum of Illusions Dubai - by Management
Description
The Museum of Illusions consists of a large collection of entertaining optical illusions (about 80 of them) that are both educational and interactive. Most of them are designed so that visitors can take pictures of those trick-eye perspectives and designs.
Access & Transport
The building is in Al Seef, in central Dubai. The closest metro stations are Burjuman (interchange of red and green lines) and Sharaf DG (green line), a short 5-10' walk away. There is also a ferry pier.
Instructions & Recommendations
Best with the family or in a group rather than alone We would suggest coupling this attraction with a stroll along the Creek and a visit of the Al Seef neighbourhood.
Environmental & Social
Except for the air-conditioning running, this activity is quite neutral from both an environmental and social perspective
Conclusion
The Museum makes for an entertaining group of family indoor option in a location that is relatively central. Probably not something you would travel purposely for, but if you are in the neighbourhood this is a good option to consider
Key positive
Family friendly
Can be combined with other touristic sights and activities in the same district
Key negative
Clearly overpriced considering the quantity and quality of the museum's content
Can induce dizziness for some
Suitability
Suitable for all ages but older visitors may not get as much fun out of it. Likewise for people with reduced mobility who may not be able to take the poses required for the illusions to work.
