EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum - by Ken Tse on Google

Description
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum covers the history of the Irish diaspora and emigration to other countries through immersive displays. Examples of topics include migration patterns, the Irish famine or religious missionary work. The museum is housed in the retrofitted vaults of the industrial CHQ Building (Custom House Quay) historically used to store cargos of tobacco, tea, and spirits.
Access & Transport
The CHQ Building is in Dublin's Docklands, 200m east of the Talbot Memorial Bridge. Bus services 191 and 912 stop in front of it on Custom House Quay road and the red tram line stops on the other side at 'George's Dock' station.
Instructions & Recommendations
Ticket holders are entitled to a 2nd visit within 10 days and online prices are slightly cheaper than at the box office.
Environmental & Social
Electricity consumption balanced out by the repurposing of the CHQ building that also contributes towards the rejuvenation of the neighbourhood. Educational aspects
Conclusion
A museum with a difference that should be of interest to most people even though the extent of what you will learn might be somewhat limited as compared to a more traditional cultural experience. At least, it should be engaging to children. Not quite on the shortlist in our opinion but recommended for anybody with at least 3 days in Dublin
