Description
Trinity College is Ireland's most prominent University. It was founded in 1592 and the college grounds spread over 19ha in the centre of Dublin. Some of the main features include the 30m-high Campanile designed by Sir Charles Lanyon, neo-Gothic Graduates Memorial Building, the Old Library, The Rubrics constructed with red bricks and sporting hexagonal chimneys, and the Chapel. The college makes available for purchase and download a 30mins multi-media self-guided walking tour via the Visit Trinity App.
Access & Transport
The campus is just south of the Liffey River, in the centre of Dublin. Several bus lines serve the area and the tram green line stop 150m away at 'Trinity' and 'Dawson'. By train, the Pearse and Tara Street station are only 300m away. There are no parking facilities on campus.
