Environmental & Social
Very urban environment with a couple of parks. Socially neutral
Conclusion
The neighbourhood offers travellers a mix of independent restaurants / cafes sprinkled with a few minor sights that stand in contrast to the mainstream tourist highlights of the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria area. We would not consider it as a must see for somebody with less than 3 days in the city but, rather, an area to be enjoyed for those with more time and in a relaxed urban exploration mindset.
