Description
Ses Illetes beach is a narrow stretch of white sand at the tip of the Es Trucadors peninsula on Formetera island. It is part of the Ses Salines de Eivissa and Formentera Natural Park and, thanks to its shallow, turquoise water, it is widely considered one the best beaches in Spain.
Access & Transport
The beach is on the northern stretch of Formentera, only 4km from La Savina where ferries arrive and 7km north of Sant Francesc Xavier. It is a short walk through the sand up from the parking area to the beach.
Instructions & Recommendations
Make sure to bring sun protection equipment and water with you. We recommend combining some time at this beach with a visit of the nearby small town of Sant Francesc de Formentera.
Environmental & Social
Green attraction. Socially neutral
Conclusion
If you love beautiful beaches, you will love Ses Illetes. In fact, even if you are not into beaches but more generally enjoy stunning landscapes, this stretch of sand is almost worth a trip from Ibiza by itself.
