Description
Fujairah Fort is located in the city of Fujairah and is one of the largest castles in the UAE. It was built during the 16th century and comprises four watchtowers (three round and one square). It was used for defensive purpose as well as a residence for the Fujairah Emirate royal family during the 19th century.

The fort is on the rocky outcrop, 3km north of the Fujairah airport and 400m inside from the Al Saif (Sword) Roundabout, in Fujairah City. The plus code is '48QP+FRH - Al Sharyah - Fujairah' Fujairah City is along the shores of the Gulf of Oman, 70mins by car from Dubai

Conclusion
The fort is easily one of the best attractions in Fujairah but unfortunately lacks in "depth" with little to discover and enjoy inside. Worth a detour for those in the Fujairah Emirate
