Salobreña - by Patricia Claros Aguilar on Google

Description
Salobreña is a town on the 'Costa de Granada' (or "Costa Tropical') in Andalusia. The old town sits atop a large rock formation and includes a 10th century Moorish castle, narrow streets and whitewashed houses - the typical Andalusian village. The new town spreads in the plain, all the way to the beach. The climate is semi-arid and sub-tropical.
Access & Transport
The town is 65km south of Granada (A-44) with buses making the journey in 55mins. It is also 95km straight east of Malaga along the coastline (A-7 or N-340).
Instructions & Recommendations
This activity combines well with the Nerja Caves, 30km away, on the road to Malaga.
Environmental & Social
The main activities in the town have a low carbon footprint. Tourism is a welcome injection of activity and revenues in the local economy
Conclusion
The small town of Salobreña is one of the most scenic in Eastern Andalusia. If offers a combination of typical white-house village and seaside town, meaning it should be of interest to a wide range of travellers and works well as a stop between Malaga and Granada or Almeria.
