Meta review

The attraction is regularly listed at or near the top of things to do in the city by travel magazine, bloggers and online review portals. Visitors love the place for the variety of scenes and amount of details and highlight that it isn't just about the trains and a lot of "drama" is also being depicted. Because it is so large, most reviewer mention that 2h is a minimum and because the attraction is very popular it is best to go early.

Environmental & Social

No data available. Marginally negative from an environmental standpoint due to the energy use (mostly electricity)

Conclusion

The Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg might not be ground-breaking in concept but the quality, creativity and sheer scale (!) of the venue makes it a standout attraction. Unfortunately, it is in some way victim of its own success so that this wonderland can be crowded despite being overpriced.
