Benirrás cove, Ibiza - by Paddy Ebbs on Google
Description
Benirrás Cove is a 300m sand and pebble beach surrounded by pine forested cliffs on Ibiza's northern coastline. The water is very clear and the beach has some fishermen shacks and bars.
Access & Transport
The beach is 4km by road from Port de Sant Miquel, 7km from Sant Miquel de Balansat and 25km north of Eivissa. There is a parking next to the beach.
Instructions & Recommendations
It's the beach and the sun can be strong in the Baleares so don't forget the usual protective equipment (hat/cap, "green" sunblock, sunglasses, slippers) and some water.
Environmental & Social
Low environmental footprint as long as beachgoers and bars behave responsibly. Over-commercialized but without significant impact on surrounding villages.
Conclusion
A good beach option for those who enjoy their sunset with a drink. If you prefer smooth sand, head elsewhere, and if you like your beach on the quiet side, come in the morning.
