Cala Saladeta - by Eduardo Cacere on Google
Description
Saladeta Cove is a narrow beach on the northern side of the larger Salada Cove, on the eastern coastline of Ibiza. It is known for its crystalline blue waters. The sand is golden and there are no facilities.
Access & Transport
The beach can be accessed from neighbouring Cala Salada by taking a path up the rocky hillside that separates them - or a short swim. Cala Salada is 4km north of San Antonio on the PM-812 (minibuses run between them) and 20km north of Eivissa (C-731/PM-812). There is a parking next to the Salada beach.
Instructions & Recommendations
It's the beach and the sun can be strong in the Baleares so don't forget the usual protective equipment (hat/cap, "green" sunblock, sunglasses, slippers) and some water
Environmental & Social
Green attraction. Not commercialized and no negative impact on surrounding villages
Conclusion
Cala Saladeta has undoubtedly one of Ibiza's most attractive beach sceneries but you would be inspired to go early morning or out of the summer season. For parents with younger children, Cala Salada, just before it, is a better option (easy access + restaurant).
