Description
Miniatürk is a park with over 130 miniature models (1:25 scale) of various buildings and villages in Turkey. About half is from Istanbul and the other half from Anatolia and other territories just outside the country that were part of the Ottoman empire. Examples include the town of Mardin with its stone houses and Istanbul's Hagia Sophia Mosque.

Instructions & Recommendations
The area is not sheltered from the sun so wear a cap / hat in the summer. There are no other tourist attractions nearby, except for the Dolphinarium.
Environmental & Social
No environmental data but the carbon footprint is low. Socially neutral
Conclusion
Miniatürk is much more positioned as a theme park alternative (without the thrills) for local residents rather than a tourist destination since travellers to the country come to see the real thing(s). That being said, it can be a good way to discover the key monuments and sights outside of Istanbul and be inspired for your next Turkey trip.
