Description
The Nan Lian Garden of Hong Kong is a Chinese Classical Garden designed in the Tang Dynasty style and occupies 3.5ha with hills, trees, rocks and wooden structures. The garden was a joint project of the Government and the Chi Lin Nunnery.
Access & Transport
The garden is located next to the Diamon Hill Station (north of Kowloon Bay / Kai Tak) Access is straightforward, next to Diamond Hill MTR (Kwun Tong line)
Instructions & Recommendations
We recommend using the MTR to get there and possibly combine this with a visit of the Wong Tai Sin Temple (one MTR stop away / walking distance).

The Nan Lian Garden is a great stop if you are in the Kowloon area, in particular if you have not seen a Japanese or Chinese classical garden in a while. It makes for good pictures and a nice break from the city - without having left it.
