National Azulejo Museum - by Francy on Google
Description
The National Tile Museum (Museu Nacional do Azulejo) is located in the former convent of Madre Deus, to the east of the historical centre of Lisbon. It is dedicated to the traditional Iberophone tilework called "azulejo" but many rooms are also embellished by paintings, woodwork, and gilded ornamentations.
Access & Transport
The museum is 3km to the east of the city centre, on Rua Me. Deus. There are several bus services that stop close to the old convent.
Instructions & Recommendations
We suggest combining his activity with the Lisbon Oceanarium, 5km further east along the bank of the Tagus.

Low carbon footprint and helps preserves the city's architectural and artistic heritages
