Meta review

Not as many fake reviews as its sister park Disneyland but still a mixed bag. The rides themselves are fun, in particular Radiator Springs Racers, Web Slingers and Soarin' get excellent comments as does Pixar Pier and the water show in the evening, but the waiting lines are long and some of the rides seem to be prone to break-downs. There are also systematic comments that tickets are overpriced and that the park is too crowded, making for an experience that is worse every year that goes by (a statement coming from returning visitors).

Environmental & Social

Disney has ambitious environmental goals for 2030 at the group level such as net zero emissions and 100%zero carbon electricity. The park itself has various sustainability initiatives (water conservation use of biodiesel, etc.) but the attractions themselves remain very energy intensive. On the social & community front, Disney Resort is a major employer locally with diversity and inclusion policies.

Conclusion

Just like Disneyland Park, do not expect guests to be the priority - the park's objective is to make money. With that in mind, and armed with patience, there are some excellent rides, theming and shows. This park probably caters more to teenagers and Disneyland to children.

Key positive

Different vibe and themes from the 'standard' Disneyland

A wide range of rides for different ages

Key negative

Very expensive tickets

Long waiting lines

Limited healthy food options and F&B is egregiously priced

Suitability

All ages welcome but best for families. Visitors with disabilities (mobility, visual, hearing) have access to special services but cannot enjoy all rides.
