Rocher des Aigles - by LéonHell Studio on Google

Description
The Rocher des Aigles is an ornithological park with free-flight performances of birds of prey demonstrating their precision and parrots taking seeds out of visitors hands. There are various types of eagles, vultures, kites, falcons, kestrels, owls, macaw, parrots and cockatoos.
Access & Transport
The park is located next to the Château of Rocamadour, 50km by road from Sarlat. There is a free car park onsite.
Instructions & Recommendations
The entrance fee covers both a visit of the parks and attendance to the shows. You should plan to arrive 30 mins before the show, the schedule is available online on the same page as the opening hours. At the time of this review, during the regular season, those timings are 14h30 and 16h00 with extra shows at 11h00 and 17h30 in July & August.
Environmental & Social
Environmentally neutral and not much info regarding conservation other than the fact that all parrots are born in captivity. Some tie-up with a Mexican conservation project.
Conclusion
This is a family-friendly activity with shows that are sure to impress visitors of all ages. We do recommend it with some reservation relating to the ethical dilemma of captivity for the sake of conservation. We also think the issue around size of the cage is simply an example of our tendency to anthropomorphize: birds of preys don't roam around walking when they don't hunt and they need an incredible amount of space for that activity.

Key negative
Demoralising to see birds kept in cages
