Lyon Bike Tour organizes several ebikes guided tours in Lyon, in groups of 2-8 people. The "Canuts" tour reviewed here can be booked either in French or English and takes 3h, starting from the Old Lyon, crossing the city centre and going up the slopes of the Croix Rousse district where the Canuts silk weavers were workings in the 19th century. For background, Lyon was the largest center of factory workers in the country at the time and it is in Croix-Rousse that the first labour revolts took place in 1831, 1834 and 1848. The tour takes on the following highlights: Terreaux square, Rouville square, Croix Rousse Boulevard, the Canuts painting wall, the Gros caillou esplanade, Colbert square, the Roman amphitheatre, the Lyonnais painting wall, the banks of the Saône river, and The Lyonnais Fresco.
