Les Halles de Lyon gather over 50 food-related shops in a covered market named after the famous local chef Paul Bocuse. Created in 1971, it was completely overhauled and given a modern look in 2004-06. Visitors can find cheese shops, fish mongers, butchers, wine merchants, pastries, fresh produces, and several restaurants.

Address: 102 Cour Lafayette in the 3rd arr. There is a bus stop on Cr Lafayette (C3, C13), on Rue Garibaldi (38) and on Rue de Bonnel (C9). The tram stops Palais de Justice - Mairie du 3ème and Part-Dieu - Auditorium on the T1 line are both a 3mins' walk to the south and the 'Place Guichard Bourse du Travail' metro station (B) is close to the Mairie du 3ème tram stop. Onsite parking is available, the entrance is on rue Garibaldi.
