The best viewpoints are along the slope, below the traffic level, on the west side of the bridge. Other sights in town include the bullring (reviewed separately) and the main square: Plaza del Socorro.

Meta review

According to travel guides and online reviews this is the star attraction of the city: stunning and highly photogenic although pictures cannot capture the 'magic' of the place. The consistent advice is to go down a steep footpath for the best view of the monument.

Environmental & Social

Activity without environmentally footprint. Helps preserve the architectural heritage of the town and tourism brings some economic activity

Conclusion

The bridges of Ronda are a sight to behold, but the Puente Nuevo is in a class of its own; an architectural tour de force in a dramatic setting. Well worth the drive
