Access & Transport
Address: nº 3 Camino del Jardin Botanico, Malaga. The Gardens are a 15-minute walk from the last stop on the number 2 bus route. There is onsite parking for those driving there
Instructions & Recommendations
We suggest reading more about the background of the gardens on the website (https://laconcepcion.malaga.eu/en/the-garden/past-and-present/).
Environmental & Social
The green spaces require some watering but otherwise the park is quite neutral from an environmental standpoint and a positive for local residents
Conclusion
Essentially a park with a great diversity of trees and plants that makes for a well-deserved break from the city - shame about the motorway alongside it. Nothing spectacular and painful to get to without a car but worth discovering for anybody with more than 3 days in Malaga.
Key positive
Great variety of flora
Key negative
