Meta review

Most visitors have positive feedback about the area, boat trips in particular. Whilst ratings do change depending on the operator, reviewers note that most of them offer various routes across several lakes, including some for bird watching, and that the live commentary are almost all in German only. The Mueritzeum aquarium is also a popular venue for families with the largest freshwater aquarium in the country and good exhibits on the local ecosystems' fishes and birds provided both in German and English.

Environmental & Social

We deem this activity environmentally neutral and marginally positive as it brings some economic activity to the rural communities

Conclusion

Müritz lake and national park has some of the most visit-worthy landscapes in Northern Germany which mostly shines for its coastline. It deserves an overnight stay for proper exploration but also works well as a stop in between Berlin / Brandenburg region and other attractions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
