Description
The Natural Park of the Albufera del Grao is a 50km2 protected area along the north-eastern coast of Menorca. It is notable for the diversity of its ecosystems that include a lagoon, marshlands, dune systems, beaches, and coastal islets with great biodiversity. Besides the lagoon, specific points of interest include the cape of Favarich with its lighthouse and vestiges of the Talayotic culture at Sa Torreta. There are a few hiking routes.
Access & Transport
The park is a few kilometres north of Mahon, along either the Me-5 to the lagoon and Es Grau or bifurcating from the Me-7 towards the cape of Favarich.
