Everglades Safari - by Management

Description
The Everglades is a 20,000km2 area of tropical wetlands in southern Florida. It is characterized by free-flowing channels of water (called sloughs) between sawgrass prairies in which animals such as alligators, snakes, and turtles thrive. Everglades Safari Park is one of the operators in the national park and their standard Airboat ride ticket includes a 30-40mins airboat tour, the wildlife nature show, and access to the jungle trail with its observation platform and exhibits.
Access & Transport
The complex is located in the central part of the Everglades NP, along the US-41 (Tamiani Trail), a 45mins drive (50km / 30 miles) from Downtown Miami. There is free onsite parking for customers. Address: 26700 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33194 Directions: https://www.evergladessafaripark.com/how-to-get-here
Instructions & Recommendations
The airboat tours leave every 25mins, no prior reservations is required. The min. age requirement on the boat is 8 months
Environmental & Social
Green activity though the boats use petrol V8 engines.
Conclusion
If you have not visited the Everglades before and are in the Miami area then this activity (or one operated by another company) should be high on your list since this is a very South Florida-specific ecosystem. Don't expect a major adrenaline rush and don't make alligators the sole focus of your experience, then you'll be rewarded.
