There are guided visits at 12h00 (reservation required, max 15 pers.) year-round and at 16h00 as well outside of the summer - they cost 7€/pers.

Meta review

Not heavily visited but very good ratings by reviewers who tend to be amateurs of religious art and often familiar with the artist; those that aren't tend to be quite surprised by the nature of the works of art. The quality of the carvings is often highlighted, likewise for the explanations and the main drawback pointed out is that some items exhibited high up can't be seen properly.

Environmental & Social

Minor environmental impact to run the museum (mostly electricity). Helps preserve the artist' works.

Conclusion

The works of Salzillo show great skills and probably love for the craft, but the theme is so specific: Christian religious art related to the nativity and other scenes of the Bible, that it is difficult to recommend it for most people. Have a look at the pictures and see what you think before heading there
