Description
The Flatiron Building is an 87m steel-framed skyscraper completed in 1902 in the district named after it in NYC. Not very well received initially, it has over the decades become an icon of the city's skyline and a metaphor of its bold architecture. The tour operated by 'like a local' takes small groups (max 14 pers.) on a discovery of the district architectural landmark, history and food. Besides the Flatiron, Madison Square Park and Union Sq., customers will try out food from several award-winning stops: bakery, sandwich shop, cheese maker, and pizzeria.

Meeting point: gold Tiffany’s clock in front of Eataly, located at 200 5th Avenue This is 100m north of the Flatiron building, next to Madison Square Park and 2mins walk from 23 St station (N, Q, R, W, 4, 6, PATH Orange and Blue).
