The Osaka Science Museum consists of four floors of science exhibits, many of them interactive, covering topics such as chemistry, electricity, energy, and cosmology. In addition, there are science shows held several times a day (Japanese language only) and a planetarium(separate fees).
Access & Transport
The museum is located on the island of Nakanoshima, between the Dōjima and Tosabori rivers, in the Kita ward of Osaka. The Watanabebashi and Nakanoshima train stations are just a 2mins walk away and the Higobashi metro station (Yosubashi line) is 8mins away. There is also a car park on site.

Conclusion
Osaka Science Museum is perhaps the best family-friendly museum in the city and is a solid option for those with a keen interest in sciences although the very scientifically literate may not be awed given the slightly playful nature of most exhibits
