Tempozan Ferris Wheel - by Koreval

Description
Tempozan Ferris Wheel provides riders with views of Osaka Bay during a ~15mins ride. When it opened in 1997, the 100m-diameter structure was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. Interestingly, it is colour-coded to reflect weather forecast for the next day: green for cloudy, orange for sunny, and blue for rain.
Access & Transport
The attraction is in the western side of the city, 6km from Namba station. It is an easy 5mins walk from the Osakako metro station (Chuo line)
Instructions & Recommendations
It can be windy at the top so you may want to have a sweater / jacket with you. We suggest combining this attraction with a visit of the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, in the same development.
Environmental & Social
Quite energy intensive on a per person basis. LED lights are used
Conclusion
If you have never been on a Ferris Wheel then this is a good option. Otherwise there is nothing really incredible about it and we feel the best experience might just be to look at it: the LED display is quite striking.
