Meta review

The various classes (cooking, baking and pastries) get extremely high praise from customers who really enjoy the quality of the experience and social interaction with the chef / guide and the communal dinner part. There are very few negative reviews and those are dealt with by a manager who is clearly passionate about what he does and doesn't enjoy the widespread inaccuracies and exaggerations commonly found on review portals.

Environmental & Social

Environmentally neutral From a social perspective, we deem this activity to be positive as it provides a livelihood to independent operators

Conclusion

Le Foodist proposes high quality cooking class + dinner, not really a Paris-specific activity but definitely a wonderful way to immerse yourself into the French cuisine and way of life. Whether it is worth it or not really depends on your interest and budget/price elasticity.

Key positive

Expertly and professionally led classes

You get to learn some recipes

Dinner & wine included

Key negative

Not cheap by any means but value is fair

Not all dietary restrictions can be accommodated (would be limiting for traditional french cooking)

Suitability

Suitable for adults and children aged 12 but the dinner experience is more suited for adults. It looks to be accessible for customers with mobility issues but best check with them directly
