Description
Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Park is a public parc located in South Philadelphia comprising meadows, landscaped architecture, walking paths and other recreational and sports infrastructure (baseball, skatepark, soccer fields, tennis courts). It was mostly reclaimed from marshlands of Greenwich Island, spreads over 141ha, and was used for the Sesquicentennial Exposition in 1926 (150 years of Independence) with structures such as the boathouse, the gazebo and the American Swedish Historical Museum.
Access & Transport
The park is all the way south of Philadelphia, near the confluence of the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers. The NRG metro station (BSL) is located at the north-eastern corner. By car it is just off S Broad St and there is parking within the park.

Conclusion
An enjoyable park with a couple of photogenic features and handy sport fields for residents but we would not describe it as a tourist attraction.
