Description
The Church of Our Lady before Týn was built in the 14th century in Gothic style and is one of the landmarks of Prague's Old Town. It stands out for its verticality, created by the two towers of the front façade reaching 80m, with spires that are each adorned by eight smaller spires Inside, the furnishing is mostly baroque with several gilded altars, including the main one with a painting by Karel Škréta, a stone baldaquin (from 1493 by Matěj Rejsek) and a large pipe organ.
