Meta review

This is considered one of the top attractions in San Diego by travel guides and bloggers with online reviews confirming that perception. Visitors are amazed by the sheer size of the ship, impressed by the aircrafts and complimentary about the friendly and informative docents. A 'great look into American military history'. Do note that some of the stairs/ladders are very steep.

Environmental & Social

Fortunately, it stays moored so the environmental impact is manageable. Helps preserve the technical and historical heritage of the country

Conclusion

If you have never visited an aircraft carrier, this is definitely going to blow you out of the water... Highly recommended for ship and military history fans. Morally, mixed feelings between the aggressive / war aspect but also the defensive / deterrent considerations.
