Winchester Mystery House - by Management
Description
The Winchester Mystery House was the residence of Sarah Winchester, the wife of William W. Winchester (of Winchester rifles fame). It is located in San Jose (CA) and serves as a tourist attraction because of its architectural curiosity - seeming lack of any building master plan - and the claim that the house is haunted. Guided tours take visitors through 110 rooms (out of 160 in the house) and last 65mins.

Relatively low carbon footprint and repurposed existing building.
Conclusion
The 'mystery house' is something different and certainly interesting (more so for those who believe in supernatural phenomena) but the pricing policy makes it impossible for us to recommend it to anybody with a finite budget. Better things to do and see for that much.
Key positive
Entertaining and unusual architecture
Key negative
Outrageous pricing
Suitability
Not suitable for visitors with mobility due the large number of stairs
