Yeouido Park - by ihap Sihe on Google

Description
Yeouido Park is situated on the southern bank of the Han River in Seoul. It was redeveloped on top of Seoul's first airport (can still visualize the strip) in the late 1990's with a cultural plaza and 3 types of natural habitats / landscaping: grassland, ecological forest, and traditional Korean forest. There are cycling and biking paths and it is also a popular spot during cherry blossom and views of the city's skyline across the river.
Access & Transport
The park is in the Yeoui neighbourhood of Yeongdeungpo-gu, in the southwest of Seoul. Yeouido station (5, 9) is roughly at the centre of the park with Yeouinaru (5) providing a better option if you are looking to alight near the river bank.
Instructions & Recommendations
For non-vegetarians / non-vegans, it is a short walk to the large Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market.
Environmental & Social
A mostly green redevelopment of a previous airport - kudos on that. Enhances the living environment of residents
Conclusion
Nothing of great visual or cultural value to see there but a good inner-city place for a casual jog or perhaps some inline skating.
Key positive
Some photogenic shots contrasting nature and skyscrapers
Easy to get to
Key negative
Nothing really special to see (besides an airplane in the middle of the city)
Suitability
No restrictions / accessible
