Meta review

Mixed reviews for this attraction. A majority of visitors seem quite satisfied with the content, feeling it was interesting, up to date and sufficient to hold interest for several hours but a significant minority simply do not share those views - mostly customers who have travelled overseas and seen other such museums there.

Environmental & Social

No data on energy consumption but the biggest requirement is for cooling and lighting. The museum has school and outreach programs and generally helps spread culture and interest in sciences

Conclusion

The Science Museum is a good educational activity for Singapore residents, but it doesn't quite have the calibre and state of the art exhibits to warrant a trek across town for foreign tourists with limited time in the country.

Key positive

Fun and interesting interactive exhibits for kids

Key negative

No major highlight worth a visit by itself

Many exhibits feel a little behind the times

Suitability

Suitable for all ages but children might actually get more out of it than adults. The museum is accessible for people with limited mobility.
