The Lonja de la Seda was Valencia's Silk Exchange. It was built in late Gothic design at the end of the 15th century and consists of four areas: 1) the Contract Hall with its twisted columns, 2) the Pavilion of the Consulate where the maritime tribunal sat, 3) the Tower where debtors would be imprisoned, and 4) the walled Orange Garden.
