Description
The Science Museum Príncipe Felipe holds interactive exhibitions and scientific activities with a particular focus on learning through interaction. The building is part of the City of Arts and Sciences complex and was designed by Santiago Calatrava.
Access & Transport
The Oceanogràfic tram station (10) is next to the complex and buses 15/95 also stop there + bus 94 stops across the park on Passeig de l'Albereda. The City of Arts and Sciences is 4km to the southeast of the city centre. Directions: https://cac.es/en/informacion-de-interes/
Instructions & Recommendations
We suggest combining this activity with the Oceanogràfic, the Queen Sofia Palace of Arts or the nearby Museu Faller de València.
Environmental & Social
Educational content but construction of the complex would have been resources intensive. We cannot find any recent data on environmental sustainability.
Conclusion
The Science Museum is a must see - from the outside. If you have a spare 2h and are with children and/or interested in everything cultural / scientific then it is worth going in (price is reasonable), otherwise you may want to consider other attractions in the area instead.
