Meta review

The online reviews for the park are consistently excellent but clearly originate from visitors who were there for a hike, not random tourists happening to pass by. They describe the area as feeling a world away from the city, and yet so close to it, the trails as well marked, non-technical and well-maintained. There are lots of trail options and the Lilly of the Valley Hike is mentioned quite a few times as a favourite. Expect to meet plenty of dogs with their owners.

Environmental & Social

Green activity that enhances the living environment of residents

Conclusion

This is a great outdoor option for those staying in the southern part of Vancouver or do not necessarily want the mountain slopes and views but still find Stanley Park too urban. In our opinion however, this is much more a park for residents to enjoy rather than for tourists with limited time in the city.
